Rosewood Grill

Rosewood Grill

Turners Mill property, originally a grain mill dating back to 1852, was converted into a restaurant and office space. JCI Construction renovated the existing structure and added additional space while maintaining the original integrity of this historic structure. Existing material such as the wood beams, post and brick veneer were incorporated into the interiors and exterior of the building.

An elevator was installed to reach the upper level which housed Morgan Stanley Finance office while the main floor and the basement were used by Rosewood Grill (restaurant). New plumbing, HVAC, and upgraded electric was installed. A new standing seam roof was added, to the perimeter of the existing Mill and new mansard. Interior finishes were added which complimented and enhanced the historic barn stone and wood beams.

A state of the art wood burning stove became the center piece of the kitchen. A brick paver patio with a barn stone perimeter and two fire pits, extended the interior features to the exterior. The exterior walks included hydronic heated pipes to prevent ice and snow build-up. New landscaping, pathway lighting and asphalt parking completed the project.
